I'm looking for clues in a room full of antiques & memorabilia. There are a few people sitting in the room and I question them to no avail about the person I'm looking for. A friend steers me to a handful of products on a shelf that are all celebrating the company's 18th anniversary. It's also the 18th anniversary of the murder I'm trying to solve. I question the people in the room again about the owner of the company and someone points me to a certificate on the wall. I look for a name and address on the certificate.

It's almost my birthday/anniversary with Susannah and I'm trying to plan some private time with her. We meet up in a library and start making out. We keep getting interrupted so we try to look for some place more private.

Later, I'm outside with someone looking for something. It's raining/sleeting and a man walks over and asks if $1500 was reasonable for the used SUV he's selling. We both shrug and he goes to ask someone else.

I plan to steal a car and have my eye on a mail van parked nearby. The side doors are open and the Shins' "Split Needles" is playing. I decide it's probably not a good idea to steal a mail van.

I'm in a dark field near a car dealership while Jack is siphoning gas from a Jaguar (there have been lots more Jaguars lately since there was some kind of takeover). Michelle and I and two others urgently need to leave. They get in the car and I go on foot, saying, "I'll meet you guys." I run up onto a ledge outside a Lane Bryant store and climb down into a mall (it's now daylight). I run through the crowded mall and into an adjoining movie theater. Many seats are roped off as "reserved" but people ignore the signs. I continue into a tiny casino and walk through very narrow gambling corridors looking for a way out. I end up at a table and the dealer welcomes me. I keep going, saying, "I gotta get the hell out of here."

I finally exit the riverboat casino and run down the dock. AJ calls me and I realize I was supposed to meet him for lunch ar 1:30. I tell him we're on the run from the law and have to catch a plane, adding, "You know how we are." He tells me to be careful not to be seen.

I'm running late for something when I stop into a Korean restaurant for a quick bite. the place is mostly empty but the tables haven't been cleared. I wander to the back to find a waitress. One appears and asks me in Chinese if I 'd like to eat with someone who's already here. She leads me into a private room where an older Asian businessman is eating. One of the dishes on the table is a giant panda (fur and all) on a plate. Another man is standing at the table wolfing down a rice dish.

I meet up with my mom and Sofia and we try to find a place to eat. A young guy (Dwayne from Entertainment Outlet) is driving us around. An aggressive driver cuts us off and Dwayne keeps tailgating him. I tell Dwayne to back off and he seems annoyed. I say, "I wish I could drive like I play poker, use aggression to get people out of my way." We continue our way across town towards the babysitter's.

I'm at the airport waiting on Ileda to catch up.

Later, I'm in the Lexington at Panda Garden with Susannah, Sofia, Tom, Lynnette, Everett and my dad. We're finishing lunch (the entrees have been cleared and we're grazing on the appetizers - there's still alot of food left but people don't seem too enthused about them). I tell Susannah I'm officially burned out on Panda Garden & GS and she reminds me that she needs to get to work in Richmond. We look at the time and it's 1:10 (she has to be there at 12 or 1). I ask my dad if he can pay for dinner and take Sofia home so I can take Susannah to work. He tells me to take the truck and I try to clarify, "You want ME to take the truck or YOU to take the truck?" I decide to let Susannah take the car since I don't need to be anywhere today.
