I’m in a sprawling old house trying to get out. I make my way through a room and have to get by a black woman sleeping in a chair. I apologize as I squeeze past her.

In another room, there are lots of jeans spread out over the bed and floor. As if in a vintage store, I start looking them over to find a pair that I like. A few of them are the wrong sizes, the other ones are damaged or have holes in them.

I walk over to a shelf to see lots of action figures. Most of them have been mixed and matched (Yoda’s head on a GI Joe figure). I fiddle with them briefly and leave.

Later…

I’m watching the scene of a man standing on a boardwalk. He’s the vice president of the United States (from the West Wing). As a orange glow emanates in the background, he says, “What you see behind me is a 7 megaton nuclear bomb known as a (something). I will continue to report to you as things happen. The explosion spreads slowly towards him and an army helicopter picks him up. Inside the helicopter, J.K. Simmons (without his J. Jonah Jameson moustache) plays a general and says warily, “Get us an army together…”

The view pans back down to the boardwalk. Now everything seems normal. There are people walking back and forth. The view flies over the boardwalk and settles on a young couple and a mother. As they talk, an orange burst flashes in the background. Before anyone can react, it spreads to the boardwalk, dissipating into a small cloud of dust by the time it hits the people. The remaining people run for cover.
