I was wandering around a comic book or role-playing game convention for a little while, before venturing outside. It felt like the streets of a big city on a sunny day. I saw a group of geeky people I went to high school (though I couldn't remember their names). I walked up to them & said Hi, but they didn't seem to excited or surprised to see me.

I woke up humming RESPECT by Aretha Franklin.

Now I'm singing fragmented lines from a John Cougar Mellencamp song... "Rain on the scarecrow, Blood on the plow..."
